"Summertime, and the livin is easy" (inspired by Ella)

We had an easy cycle from Arcachon to Biscarrose-Plage, through a beautiful national forest which runs for 30 kms.

According to the French version of Wikipedia:

Biscarrosse est une commune du sud-ouest de la France, située dans le département des Landes (région Aquitaine). 
Biscarrosse, capitale de l'hydraviation est une station balnéaire réputée, notamment pour ses spots de surf.Ses habitants sont les Biscarrossaises et les Biscarrossais.

Now that you know that, I should add that the town and beach are very lovely, a popular place for the French to spend summer weekends and have summer homes, it's very lovely. We spent a quiet afternoon walking the beach and relaxing, on a beautiful sunny and warm (30C) day in the south-west of France.

There are spectacular beaches for 125 kms
